Neighbors in Need (NIN) is a special mission offering of the UCC that supports ministries of justice and compassion in the United States. Help Wanted For Our CT Freedom Trail Tour October 1st

We need members/friends to prepare the church for the tour. Volunteers will meet at Faith on Thursday, September 29, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. We will not be meeting after worship today. Those who were tour guides for Faith last year would serve their same station if preferred, yet tour station assignments are pending. Please call Alice Lumpkin at 860-219-0450 and leave your name and phone number. You may also call the church office at 860-547-0820 on Monday, Wednesday or Friday before noon, and leave your contact info with Patricia Gray. The tour of Faith Church is scheduled for Saturday, October 1st, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Celebrate Our Chapel and The Amistad Organ

The Bedient ‘Amistad’ Organ is now installed inside of our reestablished chapel; and the celebration of our chapel and Amistad Organ is expected to take place in October of 2022. Stay tuned! 

Open Mic Night at Open Door Missionary Baptist Church ⛪ 

TNT Transformational Thinking with Pamela J. and Mike Scott Jr. Music Productions present an Open Mic Night on Saturday, October 8th, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded, and tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for children ages 12 and under. Honoring Sister Olga Callender  

On Friday, October 28th, the Greater Bristol Branch of the NAACP will host their annual Freedom Fund Banquet, which will honor our dear sister, Olga Callander. Those wishing to attend are asked to contact Patricia Gray at 860-547-0820 for payment. Tickets are $80 for adults and $50 for youth ages 10 and under. Checks are made payable to: GREATER BRISTOL BRANCH NAACP. The event will be held at Testa’s Banquet Facility, 46 South Center Street, Southington, CT, with a social hour at 6 p.m. and banquet at 7 p.m.
