  2. DON’T Avoid Nightshade Vegetables  Tomatoes, white potatoes, peppers, and eggplants are sometimes called “nightshade” veggies. Some holistic health practitioners say they fuel inflammatory diseases, like arthritis and lupus. But there’s no proof of that. Take tomatoes, for example.
